Mārgam Workshops
Mārgam curates, collaborates and hosts workshops with renowned and professional International artists. These workshops are more about broadening the horizon of ideas, enriching thinking, focus on technique and pedagogy.
Mārgam Centre for Arts organised a two day Bharathanatyam workshop where students learn some Karanas and Charis and they also learn a dance choreography by Guru Rukmini Vijayakumar.
The two day workshop was filled with intrinsic movement, subtle nuances and energetic footwork. There was attention to detail to minute things which helped dancers in many ways. Students were exposed to some Karanas and Charis and they also learnt the Ranjanimala choreographed by Guru Rukmini Vijayakumar.
The workshop was concluded by an interactive QnA session where topics about injury prevention, attention to physical, technical, creative, rhythmic, theoretical and artistic detailing were covered.
